A little job for you? Our team is dedicated to work-life balance and believes that many hands make light work. We are careful to break jobs up into smaller pieces so that no single person is left doing all the work, and also to make it easier for people who want to be involved a little bit but don’t have time to get overburdened.
As such, we have a number of smaller roles that volunteers can put their hands up for... sign up with a friend to share the load and make it more fun. You don't have to be a committee member to help out - all assistance is appreciated.
Some small (often once-off) ways to help:
Let us know of any fundraising ideas you may come across or community events you think we may like to be part of,
Let us know your of any "wish list" items you think the school or school community may have... for example last year it was identified that families were keen on a dress-up parade for book week, more leadership shirts were required etc.
Help to hand out the scholastic book flyers and orders to classes when they arrive,
Help out at the school library for the book fair,
Bring some baking to be shared at P&C meetings,
Help out in the classrooms at school - see your teacher,
Help out at the sports carnival and for cross-country,
Help out on Friday afternoons with Clubs for the older year groups - see front office,
Help pack the booklists before school commences each year,
Sell a box of our Cadbury Fundraiser chocolates,
Help out at the school fete
To find out about how you can put your hand up - just email us or come to a meeting and have a chat. There are many jobs to be done, however we are committed to enjoying ourselves and not taking ourselves too seriously. There are no gorillas on our committee – we’re all just doing our little bit. We’d love you to come and do your little bit too. Consider taking one of these small roles and we promise to not clutch at you with crazed eyes and vote you president within 30 seconds.
